I have reviewed for you a series of lip pencils from the NARS Velvet Matte range (Intriguing, Famous Red, Endangered, Let’s Go Crazy) over the past two days. I have been trying to get my hands on this particular shade “413 BLKR” for ages now and finally, I ordered it off the NARS website, but I wasn?t sure that I will like it or not, but I am glad that I have it. So, let’s find out what makes it so popular.

My Experience with NARS 413 BLKR Velvet Matte Lip Pencil:
NARS velvet matte lip pencil comes housed in a matte black chubby stick packaging. It is not retractable, so you have to sharpen it whenever it?s required. The end of the pencil is colour coded to the shade of the lip pencil. The name of the brand and the shade details are printed in white around the pencil.
NARS lip pencil formula is one of my favourite lip products. It comes in a jumbo pencil packaging which covers a large area in a single swipe and takes less time to cover the entire lips unlike regular lip pencils.
“413 BLKR” is a bright pink shade with pearlescent finish and it?s a straight up matte but has a sheen to it. The shade contains fine micro glitter particles which do not feel gritty on the lips.
