My Experience with NYX Color Correcting Palette:
I am very impressed with the packaging. It’s just so cute and pretty. There are six shades in the palette which serve different needs. All the shades are nicely divided in the packaging and are easy to use. On the back side of the packaging, there is other product-related information such as ingredients list, etc. So overall, the packaging is cute, compact and functional.
So, there are six correctors in the palette, as you can see. Each one serves a different purpose. If you’re new to color correction, you can read this article and learn it. This palette contains yellow, green, lavender, salmon, and two concealing/contouring shades.
Let’s learn more about each shade:
Yellow: This one is supposed to neutralize redness and brown discoloration, but this shade is probably too light for me. It turns almost white when I blend it. Hence, does nothing for me.
Green: This shade is used to neutralize redness and hide dark spots and acne marks. This one can hide dark spots but only to a certain extent. It cannot give a flawless look, hence your imperfections would still be visible.
Lavender: I would not lie, this shade works very well for me. It adds that perfect brightness to my yellow skin tone. It blends well and does not turn too light or white upon blending. It stays in place under foundation and makes my skin look bright, just like it...
