Here is the review of a lipstick that my sister bought for me, thinking I would fall head-over-heels for it. What happened next will leave you shocked!

My Experience with Revlon Mulled Maroon Matte Lipstick:
It comes in a nice packaging. The body of the lipstick is black and the top of the cap has a window through which you can see the shade. Also, the sticker at the bottom of the lipstick denotes the shade. The packaging looks quite classy. I like it.
“Mulled Maroon” is a beautiful shade. It is not a boring maroon shade at all. It is a beautiful burgundy color with brown undertones here and there. It does not appear as dark on the lips as it does in the bullet, though. This shade will suit all skin tones quite well and look perfect during winters. It looks quite nice on my face as it doesn’t make me look older or jaded. Another great thing about this shade is that it doesn’t stain the lips even though it is a dark shade. It fades evenly and gets easily removed.
So, apparently “Mulled Maroon” belongs to the “matte” category, but sadly, I do not think so. It is not at all matte, at least my lipstick is not matte. It is super creamy, hence it glides smoothly on the lips. It is a well-pigmented shade and you can get a good color payoff in just one swipe. The color can be built up with layering and don’t worry it won’t feather or bleed. Hence, even ladies with pigmented are covered.
The formula of this lipstick is super light. Like, it feels almost like a lip balm on the lips. It doesn’t let the lips dry out; in fact, my lips remain hydrated with this lipstick on.
